3 Recommended places to see Golden Ginkgo Trees Tunnels in Tokyo

There are many places in Tokyo that grow ginkgo on both sides of the street.  When the weather becomes colder the ginkgo green leaves will turn into beautiful bright golden trees tunnels like fine painting.

1. Meiji-Jingu-Gaien: around Meiji – Jingu Park

There are more than 146 ginkgo trees along both sides of the street, from Aoyama Street to Seitoku Memorial Art Museum.  This year the Annual Gingko Trees Matsuri of this place will be held on November, Saturday 14 – December, Sunday 6, 2015.

The most convenience way to travel there is to take JR Yamanote Line to Harajuku Station, then take Tokyo Metro Ginza Line to Gaien–Mae or Aoyama-Icchome Station.

Free of charge in seeing this tunnel.

Proper time: early November – early December
